This season marks our first MAJOR MILESTONE: our FIFTH ANNIVERSARY Season!  Thank YOU for making this performance space a success.  We are so grateful for your enthusiasm, your feedback and your loyalty.

We have lined up an amazing group of performances for you this season!  Please take a moment to visit our NEW  IMPROVED WEBSITE to get the latest scoop and like us on Facebook to take advantage of deals and opportunities. You can now purchase your tickets ONLINE to one of these world class shows: Rick Pedro gets grooving with his honkytonk ragtime concerts and  we will offer a side dance floor at Mason Warrington Swing Concerts for those patrons who just have to ”shake a leg”. Speaking of dance, we have been able to add TWO original Ballets by Margaret Miller and Rafael Grigorian.

Our StoryTime Series is full of fabulous fun this year and we are increasing the Tall Tales for Teens Series with shows that are provocative, entertaining to inspire meaningful conversations. Circus Terrifico, in our fun filled Just for Fun Series is another zany import from Canada that is sure to get you giggling. Don’t miss the Berenstain Bears or Sleeping Beauty direct from the  Kennedy Center!

Grammy Award winning cellist Sara Sant’Ambrogio will return with a mostly Bach program enhanced by a few Gershwin duets with Maestro John Covelli. You won’t want to miss John’s winter concert featuring several vocalists or Mother’s Day concert pairing John with violinist Elmar Oliviera and cellist Hakan Hromek. Jazz Concerts salute Benny Carter and Steve Brown brings a Latin flair in addition to a Holiday Jazz concert with vocalist Warren Cooper. We continue to support the Teen Jazz Project and offer the Florence Hamme Free Jazz concert. We have 16 Jazz Jams for you to enjoy. We have some new special shows like November’s Letters Home salute to our veterans and Sunjata Kamalenya for Black History Month in February.

We are very excited about our NEW Laugh Out Loud Comedy Series which includes a wide variety of laughs ranging from a  participatory version of MACBETH from our neighbors to the North to Manhattan’s Upright Citizen’s Brigade Touring Company improvisational evenings to the NYC Ladies of Laughter stand up artist contest winners and beginning with LUDWIG Live!, a blend of satire and classical piano!

The Schorr Family Firehouse Stage is the first performance venue of the Goodwill Theatre Performing Arts Complex and Professional Training Academy. Phase One, primarily in the Firehouse Building, will contain rehearsal halls, studios, classrooms, a spacious lobby AND  two more performance venues. When Phase Two is completed, the Academy will teach post high school and graduate level courses in performance and backstage theater craft, partnering with BCC and BU and bringing professional faculty, artists and students creating another ongoing new revenue stream to benefit our region.
