Albert Hamme, Professor Emeritus, Binghamton University, is a woodwind artist, producer,
arranger and composer. He founded the jazz program at Binghamton University in 1964 and
directed it for thirty-three years. He currently performs with the Sammy Kaye Orchestra, Danny
D'Imperio's Big Band Bloviation, and is a founding member of the Presbybop Quartet.

William Carter is the founder and leader of the Presbybop Quartet. In his "day gig" he serves
as pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Clarks Summit, PA. Bill is an accomplished jazz
pianist who has extensive experience as a composer and arranger, having studied and
performed with noted jazz artists such as Phil Woods, Bob Brookmeyer, Jimmy Knepper, Jim
McNeely and Bill Mays. He has served on the music faculties of both Binghamton University
and Marywood University.

Andrew Williams is a performing artist, independent producer and recording engineer. As a
trombonist and bassist, he has over twenty-five years experience and currently is featured with
the Slide Hampton septet (2 trombones, piano, bass, drums, synthesizer and guitar) and also
appears with the Freddie Hubbard group, having been a member of the New Jazz Composers
Octet from it's very beginning.

T
om Whaley is an active freelance drummer in the northeast. He plays regularly with the Mose
Allison Trio, the Presbybop Quartet and toured Europe and Japan with vocalist Carmen
McRae. He is also active with groups led by Joe Beck, Phil Woods, Dave Liebman and was
with the National Jazz Ensemble under the direction of Chuck Israel.

Cork Klinko holds both BS and MS degrees in Music Education from Ithaca College. He
retired from the Waverly school system after 33 years of service and continues to be an active,
working musician. He regularly performs with the Swing Street Ensembles, the Mason
Warrington Orchestra and has been the lead trumpet player with the Sammy Kaye Orchestra
since 1997.

Tony Marino is one of busiest bassists on the East coast. He performs, records and tours
internationally with the Dave Liebman Group, with Broadway's Betty Buckley and with the
Presbybop Quartet; his credits also include stints with Mose Allison, Phil Woods and George
Young, as well as many musicians from the vibrant "underground" New York City scene.

Jesse Bennett resided in Europe (West Germany) for 18 plus years. There he performed with
the "who's who" of the European jazz musicians (including Joachim Kuhn and Charlie
Mariano), played at many of the European jazz festivals, and performed for both radio and
television productions. He also taught jazz improvisation and music theory at the University of
Dortmund, Meerbush Music Academy and various workshops. After returning to the United
Sates, Jesse settled in Waverly, NY and is currently playing with many of the Southern Tier's
best known jazz musicians (including Dino Losito, George Reed , Steve Brown and Brian
Murphy).

Pat Teller began singing professionally at the WCAU radio studios in Philadelphia, PA during
her last two years of college. Following college, she sang for dinner/dancing in the Statler
Hotels. While in Buffalo, NY, a local disc jockey sent a tape of her performance and her picture
to Artie Shaw without her knowledge; Artie hired her ("I was hired, unseen, unmet").
After some time with Artie Shaw, Pat moved to Miami and sang at various locations on Miami
Beach and then landed a 20 year engagement at the Coral Gables Country Club. Now 81, and
still singing, Pat tells us that "It's been a wonderful life; and all because I can carry at tune".

Susan MacLennan is a native of Horseheads, NY. She received her Master Degree with a
specialization in opera performance from Binghamton University.  She sang with the Tri-Cities
Opera Company as a member of the resident artist training program, the B C Pops Orchestra,
the Jubilee Arts, the BCC Chorus and the Binghamton University Chorus. Susan performed
leading roles in numerous musicals including My Fair Lady, Camelot, The Sound of Music and
the Music Man; today is her debut as a pop/jazz singer.
