PAST hands out awards for historic preservation

The Goodwill Theatre rehabilition project was among the list of winners of the
Preservation Association of the Southern Tier’s (PAST) 2008 Awards of
Excellence in Historic Preservation.
Other winners, honored in a ceremony on Tuesday, May 13 at The Kilmer
Building in downtown Binghamton, included: Frank and Lynn Whitney’s for
their renovation of the Kilmer Building itself, Rebecca Gennett, Brent
Williamson, Chris Schleider, Michelle Schleider, Rich David, Maggie Martin,
Sean Bell, NBT Bank, the West Side Neighborhood Association, the New York
State Department of Transportation, the Owego-Apalachin school district, St.
John the Evangelist School and St. James Middle School.
