Othello Auditions
Please come prepared with one dramatic (not comedic)
Shakespeare verse monologue, 16 lines of verse
maximum, dressed comfortably in clothes that you can
move in. Be prepared to read from OTHELLO slides
which will be provided.
Rehearsals will take place from Saturday January
2-Thursday January 28. Performances will take place
from Jan. 29-Feb. 11 and will included evening weekend
performances and weekday daytime (10:00 AM) student
matinees.
The production will have a cast of 10 actors.
Available roles include OTHELLO, BRABANTIO, DUKE
OF VENICE, MONTANO, CASSIO, RODRIGO,
BIANCA, DESDEMOMA, EMILIA
Auditions will take place at the Schorr Family Firehouse
Stage, 46-48 Willow Street, Johnson City NY 13790.
Please enter from the rear of the building, from the
parking lot off Corliss Avenue. Audition reservations are
preferable.
